The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the National Program of Withdrawal of Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant from Operation and Transformation of "Ukryttia" Object into an Environmentally Safe System"

The Law ratifies the National Program of Withdrawal of Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant from Operation and Transformation of "Ukryttia" Object into an Environmentally Safe System.

The Program defines the aim, basic tasks and measures, stages of realization of program events and expected results of implementation of the Program and its effectiveness; envisages events concerning scientific and technical, organizational and financial provision.

A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No.2635.
